Introduction of Volcano Plot

A volcano plot is a scatter plot that combines p-values from statistical tests with variation recurrence, designed to help clients quickly and visually identify data points with large and statistically significant variation recurrence. With the rapid development of bioinformatic, or supra graphs are often used for data statistics in genomics, transcriptomics proteomics, and metabolomics.

The volcano plot is a visualization of the results of the different analyses. The larger the absolute value of the horizontal coordinate in the volcano plot, the greater the difference between the two subgroups, and the larger the value of the vertical coordinate, the more significant the difference in gene expression between the subgroups and the more reliable the results.
