Introduction of PrediXcan

PrediXcan is a gene-based association analysis software. With the help of artificial intelligence machine learning, it helps you quickly establish the relationship between genetically regulated gene expression and disease or biological traits. PrediXcan analyzes the association between genotype and phenotype by integrating GWAS and transcriptome data.

The premise of PrediXcan is that the expression level of genes in the organism is mainly regulated by genetic factors, disease states and some other factors. The purpose of PrediXcan is to establish the relationship between genetically regulated gene expression and traits.

The analysis process mainly includes the following two steps. Firstly, with the help of machine learning, the genotype data and gene expression data in the GTEx Project, GEUVADIS and DGN databases are used as a training set, and then the missing expression data in the imported genotype data is estimated. So as to estimate the gene expression level regulated by SNP. Secondly, the correlation between gene expression level and disease state or target characteristics is analyzed.

Application Field

PrediXcan integrates transcriptome data and GWAS data into a single computing framework.

Analyze the correlation between gene expression levels and disease states or target characteristics.

PrediXcan was developed to detect the relationship between genotype and phenotype. And the existing GWAS data and transcriptomics data can be re-analyzed according to PrediXcan. CD Genomics provides services for genotype and phenotype association analysis with PrediXcan software. You only need to provide raw data or third-party data, and we will provide you with complete analysis results and conclusion reports. If you have any questions about the subject design and analysis content, you can also contact us at any time. Looking forward to working with you.
